SAFEGUARDING & POLICIES

Here at Young Fincs Netball Club, we take the safeguarding of every member very seriously and the well-being and safety of our players is always at the heart of what we do. As a club we we pride ourselves on having a caring and nurturing ethos, which underpins our mindset when  it comes to safeguarding. We are committed to keeping up to date with safeguarding policies and procedures. 

Safeguarding Officer

GILLIAN OWEN

Our current safeguarding officer is Gillian Owen, who has completed the UK Coaching "Safeguarding and Protecting Children" course and has an enhanced DBS check through England Netball, as per their requirement to be the designated club safeguarding officer.

The club has a designated safeguarding email, which can only be accessed by the safeguarding officer. Oldfincssafeguarding@gmail.com

We aim to create a fun, supportive and most importantly, safe environment for everyone to enjoy netball. We expect all members, players, volunteers, coaches, umpires and supporters to familiarise themselves with and adhere to the policies below. Old Fincs Netball Club constitution lays out our fundamental principles and procedures.

Code of Conduct

 

 

At Old Fincs, we expect members, players, coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters to abide by the expectations of England Netball's Code of Conduct.

Kit

 

Young Fincs members are expected to play matches in the official royal blue match dress. Other Young Fincs kit is optional.

Through our affiliation with England Netball, we comply with all necessary regulations.
